  41. program about him (in NTSC-format VHS, of course) from PBS Video...

  44. feeling gypped when the "Frontline" version was indistinguishable from
  45. what I had just seen, but for narration.  I imagine it was the same
  46. with the British version, as well.]

  80. flying on the same flight.  However, they declined the include quarter 
  81. operated massage machines in the shuttle sleeping cocoons, and to 
  82. reroute the orbital path for STS 37 to pass over Niagra Falls.

  94. In a fit of historical flashback, the Soviet Union announced plans to 
  95. build a cellular orbital communications network of a much greater size 
  96. than Motorola's planned Iridium project.  With 104 satellites as opposed 
  97. to Iridium's 77, the Soviet Union calls it the Kurchatovium project, and 
  98. the United States insists it's the Hahnium project.

  106. With the costs of launching and operations still rising, insurance 
  107. companies reaching critical mass in their capital problems, and the 
  108. economy following the Iraqi war plunging into a post-combatal depression, 
  109. venture capital seeking launch companies are instituting several schemes 
  110. to fund their projects.  The first includes some special hardware, 
  111. attached to the upper stage.  People are invited to wager a dollar per 
  112. guess on the final orbital parameters, the winner only being chosen 
  113. after the extra engine fires and sends the bird into a random orbit.

  115. Another, planned for K band broadcast satellites, is canned advertising 
  116. to be inserted automatically into the transponder channels.  Due to space
  117. considerations, rock-video soft drink commercials, with their miniscule
  118. information content, are the expected choice for inclusion.  Burger war
  119. commercials are not likely to fly.  Launch companies are after all more
  120. honorable than television networks.  Test have already been conducted on 
  121. the TDRS system.  Junk faxes have been received onboard several shuttle 
  122. flights.

  124. NASA has so far not succumbed to the pressures that the launch companies 
  125. have, although things are a bit tight.  They have, however, instituted a 
  126. voluntary project for increasing revenue.  Send $10.00 to the first name
